Pasture Raised Broilers

Toms Ranch produces free range broilers.  We use portable bottomless houses that are moved daily for approximately 8 weeks until the broilers are processed.  This allows our broilers fresh, lush, green grass and unlimited water.  Chicken wire provides excellent ventilation and protection from predators.  The benefits of sunshine and no medication or growth hormones give our free range broilers health benefits.

Free range broilers are known to have high beneficial fats and other factors that lower the cholesterol in humans, which may decrease the risk of coronary heart disease.  Researchers have found OMEGA 3 fatty acid, VITAMIN A, and a significant decrease in total fat in the pastured broiler carcass.
